MSM Home Services has been certified as a Master Gardener, whose goal is to create a healthier world through careful environmental stewardship of our land. We are here to help clients understand the interrelationships between soil, air, water, plants, and animals on their property. Every homeowner needs accurate information about their land if they are going to successfully plant flowers and shrubs, grow vegetable gardens, or protect existing trees in the landscapes. MSM Home Services can conduct a comprehensive analysis and pH test of soil on a client's property, providing a detailed report that will guide them on how to amend existing soil in preparation for any specific plants they intend grow.

Built-in shelves aligned with horizontal window mullions are a great way to display growing collections of houseplants. These are varieties of schlumbergera cacti, which typically bloom around Easter, Thanksgiving, or Christmas.
MSM Homes Services does not provide lawn care, and instead supports the re-wilding of yards to establish pollinator habitats and eliminate regular maintenance. We also support creating perennial flower gardens over the use of costly annuals in your home's landscape.
MSM Home Services is interested in xeriscaping, the process of using native plants to reduce irrigation needs. We understand that many clients have favorite plants and shrubs not found locally, but native perennials are especially adapted to our region of the country. Some of our favorites are Anise Hyssop (agastache), Bee Balm (monarda), Black-Eyed Susan (rudbeckia), Blanket Flower (gaillardia), Bleeding Heart (dicentra), Butterfly/Milkweed (asclepias), Columbine (aquilegia), Coneflower (echinacea), Coral Bells (heuchera), Daylily (hemerocallis), False Indigo (baptisia), False Sunflower (heliopsis), Ferns, Goldenrod (solidago), Jacob's Ladder (polemonium), Joe Pye Weed (eupatorium), Lupine (lupinus), Moss Pink (phlox), New England Aster, Obedient Plant (physostegia), Sedge (carex), Spiderwort (tradescantia), and Switch Grass (panicum). MSM Home Services supports the collection of perennial seeds, along with the propagation of bulbs and rhizomes in order to expand planted beds in the landscape.
MSM Home Services develops and creates floricycles, or progressions of blooming flowers throughout each season of the year, so there is always something in the landscape to enjoy. Let us help you develop a fuller, more interesting and satisfying look for your home's yard.
